Clean any dirt, rust, or paint from the part you will be soldering. 2. Heat the part with a soldering iron. 3. Place the resin-based solder on the part and melt it with the soldering iron. Note: If the solder you are using is not resin-based, be sure to apply flux paste to the part before applying the solder. 4. Wait until the solder cools and hardens, and do not move the soldered part from its place. Caution; 1. Be very careful when the soldering iron is hot, otherwise a hot soldering iron can cause fires or painful burns. 2. When you use the soldering iron for the first time, a slight smoke may emerge as the heating element dries. This is normal, but should not last longer than approximately 10 minutes. 3. Never file the specially coated soldering iron tip. Warning: Never open the device while it is plugged in. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock.
